• During childhood appeared in community theater productions, and national and international competitions in voice, piano, flute, theater and dance.

• Won the Princess Grace Award from the Princess Grace Foundation in 1993 and was named National Tap Dance Champion for four consecutive years by the Dance Educators of America.

• Made Broadway debut in 2000 in James Joyces' The Dead; later appeared in Hollywood Arms, By Jeeves, Sweeney Todd and Billy Elliott; wrote and performed the one-woman play Finishing the Hat in 2007.

• Won an Obie Award in 2007 for The Dark at the Top of the Stairs.

• Self-produced and released Old Friends, a solo CD in 2009.

• Has sung as a soloist with the London Symphony and the Rochester Philharmonic.

• Special interests include metaphysics, mystic history and philosophy.

• Is a certified reflexologist.
